METHOD

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Step 2

In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1 large egg, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Step 3

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just incorporated. Do not over-mix; a few lumps are okay.

Step 4

Fold in 3 chopped Kit-Kat bars to the pancake batter.

Step 5

Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.

Step 6

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the edges and the surface, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 7

Flip pancakes and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through.

Serve pancakes stacked on a plate, drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with whipped cream for extra indulgence.
