METHOD

Step 1

Slice the beef flank steak against the grain into thin strips.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch to make the marinade. Add the sliced beef and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced ginger and garlic, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
