METHOD

Step 1

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Step 2

Add granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.

Step 3

Gradually add in flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a dough forms.

Step 4

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Step 5

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Step 6

Meanwhile, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.

Step 7

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 8

Spread melted butter over the dough, then evenly sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.

Step 9

Roll up the dough tightly from the long edge, then cut into 12 even rolls.

Step 10

Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Step 11

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 12

Bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 13

To make the glaze, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to achieve a pourable consistency.

Step 14

Once the rolls are out of the oven, let them cool slightly before drizzling the glaze over the top. Serve warm.
