METHOD

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
