METHOD

Step 1

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.

Step 2

Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and add to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Step 3

While the chicken marinates, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

Step 4

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.

Step 5

Cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked, then remove and set aside.

Step 6

In the same skillet, add sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.

Step 7

Return the chicken to the skillet and mix with the peppers and onions, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.

Step 8

Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave, then assemble the fajitas with the chicken and vegetable mixture, adding sour cream as desired.
