METHOD

Step 1

Pop 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels using an air popper or your preferred method; set aside in a large bowl.

In a medium-sized saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of butter over medium heat.

Add 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of light corn syrup to the melted butter, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
