Sticky, sweet, and utterly finger-licking good, these BBQ ribs are slow-cooked to tender perfection and glazed in a rich barbecue sauce that will have everyone going for seconds!
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar to create a rub.
Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the ribs.
Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with foil, and cover them tightly with another piece of foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 3 hours until the ribs are tender.
Remove the ribs from the oven, and discard the top layer of foil.
Brush a generous layer of barbecue sauce over the ribs.
Increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce, basting with more sauce as desired.
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
